• #AskCoach – Keep Maximizing Every Day

    April 19th, 2013 | BY: | IN: #AskCoach

As we wind down this week, we unveil our third #AskCoach video Q&A.

This week is a little different–as Coach Carroll answered the four most popular questions he received on Twitter. We got some great stuff this week and can’t wait to share with you.

Below are the best questions we received. Take a look at the video above to see what Coach had to say about them!

When Coach Carroll is looking for his assistants, he’s looking for the person, not a set of skills. If this person is energetic and has a vision of what he’d like to become, he is a great fit. First and foremost, Coach is looking for an attitude and a competitor when filling his staff.

Why does Coach chew so much gum? He recounts how it all got started while at USC–and does it to prevent being caught with his mouth open on the sideline.

As for the upcoming 2013 season, Coach’s expectations are no different than they’ve ever been–”I want us to play as well as we can possibly play.”

And going back to what WinForever is all about, that statement makes sense. If the Seahawks do this, they will have a successful season. And to do this, Coach’s squad to needs to prepare physically and mentally so to be ready for the season and ”keep maximizing every day.”

Coach Pete! Just wanted to say what a great journey you have taken us on since you have taken over the team. What changes and/or planning differences in preperation for the early East Coast games?
